Welcome to Whitley Lodge First School

Whitley Lodge First School is a warm and welcoming coastal school for children aged 3-9 years old. Our inclusive ethos supports and encourages children to reach their full potential in a safe and secure environment.

We offer places to approximately 280 children which includes 52 morning or afternoon nursery places. Our experienced and nurturing staff team aim to establish a good pace for learning whilst continuing to value individual talents and interests.

Since 2007, we have been awarded the prestigious Inclusion Quality Mark and in 2016, we were certified as a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion. Since 2023, we have have been recognised as an IQM Flagship School for Inclusion.
